The program management leader demonstrated understanding and adherence to regulations related to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), federal, state, and local authorities, as well as coordinated with the project management team to review operational commitments.

Additionally, the BGI team managed several project aspects:

  • Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO) coordination
  • Owner-controlled insurance
  • Security personnel management
  • Management of construction safety staff
  • Safety auditing
  • Incident investigation
  • Emergency preparedness
  • New contractor orientation training
  • Drug and Alcohol Program

In addition, BGI provided the client with daily, weekly, and monthly status reports on the above safety and health activities. Our technical support included meeting regularly with federal, state, and local authorities to ensure compliance with all regulations.
